Unleash the power of North Dakota's communities! The Main Street ND Summit is your chance to join forces with local leaders, experts, and passionate citizens. Together, we'll share winning strategies, spark fresh ideas, and chart a course for regional prosperity. This year's theme, "Regional Prosperity," is your call to action. Bring a neighbor, colleague, or classmate – and get ready to return home energized and equipped to build a brighter future for your community.

Please note that there are multiple add-on events available for sign-up. Kindly ensure that you choose add-ons with different timings, avoiding overlap in your schedule. Do not select multiple add-ons that occur simultaneously.

Main Street Kickoff Street Fair
Tuesday August 27, 5:00 p.m.
Downtown Watford City

Summit registration will be available at MSS Central, Outlaws Convention Center Gallery at 120 North Main St. Pick up your guide to Main Street and the Kickoff there. Kickoff activities include a mechanical bull, wagon rides, live music, food trucks, a selfie search scavenger hunt (with prizes for the first fifty participants), a collective participant public art piece, local after-hours shopping, dining, and strolling Main Street.

Long X Visitor Center Little Market, Green Mile Block Party, and one mile City Trail Walk
Wednesday, August 28, 5:00-9:30 p.m.
Long X Visitor Center Main and Lower Levels and Children's & Centennial Parks at 100 2nd Ave. SW

Come to the Little Market, a collection of local makers and visit the Long X Visitor Center, home to the Long X Development Team, Long X Arts Foundation, and Pioneer Gifts & Books. Enjoy music and vendor food on the deck before heading across Main Street to the Children’s & Centennial Parks. At their trail head, walk the city’s one-mile-long walking path that doubles as a guided history tour of Watford City through the ‘by the decade’ 1/10th mile markers. Enjoy the second day of BOTH Regional Prosperity and Regional Wellness. Upon return to the trailhead and Children’s and Centennial Parks, enjoy a variety of yard games, and network. Enjoy North Dakota made beverages from the Watford City Park and Rec Foundation’s pop-up bar. Bring your own chair if you plan to pass on yard games and just take in the fire pit and conversation.

Artistic Reception (NDCA)

Long X Visitor Center, 100 2nd Ave. SW

Join us for light snacks and cash bar at the Long X Visitor Center for an Arts Reception with North Dakota Council on the Arts Staff and Board, as well as many of the Arts Across the Prairie artists. All are welcome!
